Global Recognition for Local Brilliance!
We are beyond proud to share that Muhammad Talha Adeel, a Grade 8 student at Headstart Kuri Campus, has been selected as a 2025 winner of the International Baccalaureate’s Global Youth Action Fund (GYAF)! 🎉🙌
Out of 1,100+ applicants from 43 countries, only 110 projects were selected — and even more impressively, Talha is the only student from Pakistan to receive this prestigious recognition! 🇵🇰🌟
💡 His award-winning project, Momentum: An AI-Powered Companion, addresses two critical UN Sustainable Development Goals:
SDG 3: Good Health & Well-being
SDG 11: Sustainable Cities & Communities
This smart, portable platform is designed to promote mental wellness, encourage sustainable lifestyles, and enhance personal security — combining innovation and empathy to create real-world impact. 🌱🧠🔒
💫 As a GYAF 2025 awardee, Talha will receive:
💰 $2,500 in funding to bring his vision to life
🎓 Personalized skill-building opportunities
🌐 A place in the global GYAF alumni network
Over the next six months, Talha will collaborate with passionate changemakers from around the world — participating in international projects, global conversations, and meaningful action. 🌏🤝
This milestone is more than just a personal victory — it’s a proud moment for our school, our country, and the future of youth-led innovation. 💪✨
A heartfelt thank you to @iborganization and @festivalofhopeib for empowering student-driven change and nurturing the leaders of tomorrow.
