Young Activist Makes History: Faris Uddin Ahmed’s Bill Tabled in Parliament

Faris uddin Ahmed, a remarkable student and advocate for climate action, was invited to PTV Home’s special show Rising Pakistan on World Children’s Day to honor his groundbreaking achievements.

Faris designed a legislation to recognize and protect climate refugees in Pakistan, showcasing his commitment to addressing critical global issues. On October 22nd, his bill was officially tabled in Parliament by Mr. Aamer Pirzada, MNA Karachi, who expressed gratitude for Faris’s inspiring initiative. The bill is now moving to committee for further deliberation.
